THE MIMI BRYAN MEMORIAL IVT SCHOLARSHIP

 

IVT is very pleased to offer the annual Mimi Bryan Memorial IVT Scholarship to an area student(s) again this
year. The Application deadline is April 1, 2025 The scholarship will be awarded over the summer.

Applications can be submitted either via email to press@indianvalleytheatre.com, or sent in the mail to the address indicated on the application (postmarked no later than April 1, 2025).

 

Mimi Bryan was one of Indian Valley Theatre’s passionate founding members, dreaming big about live
community theatre. As a long time educator, Mimi was active on stage, as well as, behind the scenes. Most
importantly, she was instrumental in giving many budding actors a shot on stage and bringing Community
Theater to life for hundreds of people in the Fox Valley area to enjoy. In the wonderful spirit of her significant
contributions to the Fox Valley Theatre World, IVT is pleased to be able to offer this scholarship annually.

The application must include a short written personal response to several questions. Special consideration will be
given to applicants who have participated in the fine arts area, especially IVT productions, and may be interested
in receiving further education in that field. However, a fine or performance arts major or minor is NOT required
to qualify for the scholarship. Indian Valley Theatre is proud of this prestigious scholarship program honoring one
of Fox Valley’s greatest contributors to community theatre and the performing arts.

 

A Scholarship Review Committee of the Indian Valley Theatre Board of Directors will consider all complete
applications submitted. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating, college bound senior from high schools
in Sandwich and the surrounding communities.
