Although this is Swarthout’s first role with IVT, she has performed in numerous productions, including as Isabella in “Troupe Strozzi” (performing everywhere), Cass in “Wonder of the World” (Albright Theatre), Mrs. Daldry in “In The Next Room, or The Vibrator Play” (Albright Theatre), Honey in “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” (Albright Theatre), various roles in “Crumbs in Bed” (Riverfront Playhouse), and as Jess in “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged” (Steel Beam Theatre).

In real life, Swarthout manages a spice shop and is married to Johnny. Together they have two “fur kids,” Zeus and Aussie. When she is not performing, you can probably find Swarthout eating, cooking, or dreaming about what she wants to eat or cook next.
