Indian Valley Theatre is proud to announce the casts for their next 3 productions. IVT wants to thank everyone who came to auditions and hopes to see everyone at the shows. All shows will be performed at the Historic Sandwich Opera House, 140 E. Railroad St. in Sandwich.

The first production is “A Mostly Minnesota Christmas” by Brian Mitchell and directed by Brad Shortridge. Tis the season to be merry…and annoyed by your family. Performance dates are December 1st through 3rd. The cast, with character names listed first, includes: Bill Hanson-Darren Whaley, Ruth-Linda Whaley and Vic-Matt Johnson all of Newark; Abby Hanson-Jen Ketchum of Sandwich; Ed-William Wille and Diane-Alexis Barkman both from Yorkville; Lisa-Ale Smith of Oswego; Jack-Terry Ahern of Seneca; Chris-Ellie Gengler of Big Rock; Nick-Riley Shortridge of Genoa and Oliver Funke-Danielle Albright from Sheridan.

The next production will be performed January 19th through 21st, 2018t and involves many area youth. The show is “Peter Pan, Jr.” which is based on J.M. Barrie’s classic tale and features an unforgettable score by Morris “Moose” Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh, Betty Comden and Adolph Green and is directed by Sue Graham. The cast includes: from Somonauk – Peter Pan-Kendel Graham, Mrs. Darling/Jukes, the Pirate-Cara Davis, Curley, the Lost Boy-Hailey Barngrover, Slightly, the Lost Boy-Hannah Barngrover, Twin #1, the Lost Boy-Matthew Brockway, Twin #2, the Lost Boy-Gavin Lorentzen, Little Lost Boy 1-Tyler Lorentzen, Brave Girl #3-Peyton Schwartz, and Brave Girl #4-Maggie McGuire; from Sandwich – Captain Hook-Dani Albright of Sheridan; Tiger Lily-Elena Ortega, Wendy Darling-Paige Penman, Mr. Darling/Smee, the Pirate-Traece Berge, Starkey, the Pirate-Isaac Ortega and Noodler the Pirate-Jackson Heilemeier; from Newark – Michael Darling-Adam Redmond, Little Lost Boy 2-Ethan Redmond, Cecco, the Pirate-Emily Redmond and Brave Girl #1-Sadie Pottinger; from Plano – Tootles, the Lost Boy-Abigail Munar and Small Brave Girl-Kloe Ronning; from Yorkville – John Darling-Brendan Massey; from Earlville – Liza/Nibs, the Lost Boy-Abby Risch; from Leland – Nana/Brave Girl #5-Grace Ackerman and from Big Rock – Brave Girl #2-Johanna Gengler.

IVT’s 3rd production is On Golden Pond”, the love story of Ethel and Norman Thayer, who are returning to their summer home on Golden Pond for the forty-eighth year, to be performed for two weekends: March 2nd through 4th and March 9th through 11th, 2018. The cast includes: from St. Charles – Norm-R. Scott Purdy; from Geneva – Ethel-Autumn Burns; from Oswego – Chelsea-Heidi Swarthout; from Naperville – Bill-Jon Witt; from Plainfield – Charlie-Bill Griffith and from Elburn – Billi-Morgan Miller.
