IVT Announces Cast for “Love, Lies and the Doctor’s Dilemma”

Indian Valley Theatre proudly announces their cast for their upcoming production,”Love, Lies and the Doctor’s Dilemma” by Michael & Susan Parker and directed by Christine Johnson.

The cast includes: Dan Rosier as Sandy and Nick Miesuk as Chris (both from Yorkville); Matt Johnson as Vinny and Linda Whaley as Joan (both from Newark); Ali Smith as Rachael (Oswego); and Connie Cline as Olivia (Somonauk).

Joan and Sandy lead a quiet life, but Joan is on edge because her actress sister-in-law is coming to visit. Not only does her sister not know that she is living with the love of her life, but she also doesn’t know that they smoke marijuana. Meanwhile, a mobster named Vinny has come to wait for Joan’s son Chris to collect money he owes to a bookie. All of this is topped off with a new and extremely clumsy neighbor, Rachael, who keeps coming over. In an effort to hide their relationship Joan introduces Sandy as her psychiatrist. “The Doctor” is in. Has Joan created a monster? Everyone wants a session. One little white lie leads to another, identities are mixed doors are slammed, and pot brownies are eaten in this new farce by the authors of “Sex Please, We’re Sixty!”

Performances will be Friday, October 20th at 7:30 pm, Saturday, October 21st at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 22nd at 2:30 pm. @ the historic Sandwich Opera House, 140 East Railroad in Sandwich.
